Still my most favorite American Patriotic Hymn, and I believe it should be the national anthem of the United States. And I'm an atheist saying this. Edit: beautiful arrangement, I'm crying rn. The first stanza in this arrangement would be a perfect anthem for us.

What a horrible rendition. The first lines the harmony eclipsed melody. The beautiful words of the original are replaced by words far less benedictary. The modernization serves the new age of anti-Christianity. The Navy Hymn of 2022 it may be. "Eternal Father Proud To Save" it is not.

It was our wedding anniversary that day, and right away we stopped everything (we dairy farm) and we're afraid our whole country would crumble. We admire those very brave ones that day and we'll never forget!

I was in fifth grade, sitting at school! The school turned the news on in every room. Anyone who didn't want to watch(we were fourth through eighth grade, upper elementary) could go to the gym and play. We didn't have classes that day. My siblings and I were pulled out of school, my parents both served in the military and they just wanted us home with them.

Thanks for recording and posting. Our grand child is a glee club member, fun to watch.
